Leyden Family Community Service Endowed Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is for student(s) selected by the Office for Community Service and Action (CSA) at the University who have a demonstrated commitment to direct service in the local community during their time as a Loyola student and who are willing to continue that commitment in the coming academic year. Qualified applicants will be full-time undergraduate students at Loyola University Chicago with sophomore, junior, or senior academic standing in the grant year. Applicants will have been active in Community Service and Action (CSA) or Campus Ministry (CM) local community service projects for at least two semesters. Applicants will be enrolled full-time in classes at Loyola’s Chicago campuses during both semesters of the grant term. Grants will be awarded based on established leadership involvement, future commitment, essay content, and financial need. Recipients will engage in direct, local community service approved by Community Service and Action throughout the grant year.
