William F. & Kathleen Hynes Scholarship Fund

Scholarship established by Robert E. Hynes (BS ‘65, JD ’69) and other members of the Hynes family, for part-time students enrolled in the University’s School of Law who are employed as a police officer or fire fighter in Chicago or their parent(s) is a current or retired Chicago police officer or fire fighter. The recipient will receive the scholarship each year he/she is in law school as long as he/she remains in good standing. Candidates must submit a letter confirming connection to police or fire department and that the member is in good standing.
