The cybersecurity skill shortage is a growing crisis facing organizations across the globe. A recent research report by Cybersecurity Ventures estimates there are 350,000 open cybersecurity positions in the U.S. today, and predict a global deficit of 3.5 million cyber security jobs by 2021. InfoSec Institute launched its Cybersecurity Scholarship Program in 2018 to help close this growing security skills gap and encourage new talent to join the industry.
